A thought.

Less than a week since the elections, and I am left with a thought that has been raised by a few friends, reporters (term used loosely) and pundits; "What the Hell?"

After the biggest spending spree, international humiliation of our President bowing to foreign leaders and monarchy, and an extremely cavalier attitude about our economy and unemployment rates, the voters decided to leave some of the biggest offenders in place to wreak more damage on our country and give them a feeling of vindication for their efforts.

The House of Representatives was an excellent start. I must admit that Nancy was correct in her speech when she received the gavel stating that under her watch there would be the most open and transparent government in the history of the U.S. (words to the effect). We could see right through her, and the rest of her cohorts in the business of the socialization of our beloved country.

The people have spoken, but not nearly loud enough. The Senate still lies in the hands of a group bent on the destruction of the middle class, small business owners, and the military. I will put this out there: I voted Conservative -to send a message to the Republicans on how H-O-W I wanted the government to be handled. I do not want Karl Rove deciding what I want as far as governments go. What I want is fiscal responsibility, morally correct decisions (Biblically based), and leaders with integrity -not some number in a little black book (not to single out Eliot). The people will get what they deserved (those who voted for the schlubs into office) and the rest of us will have to suffer until they see the light of day.

...and don't get me started on Sharia Law. Oklahoma got it right, I pray that the rest of the country can get behind this stance. Our Constitution is the basis for all of our law. Remember that little thing about Church and State that the Libs are so keen to remind us all of? I hope they remember it when they have to wrestle with this bear.

Won the House, gained in the Senate, and saw some of the RINO's flail out at the Tea Party. Here in NY, a majority of the dysfunctional state government was sent back to Albany to do the same-old-same-old. Again "What the Hell?"
