Looking around, and just taking it all in. Everything. Politics, social warfare, international issues, etc. Pretty sad stuff.
I must hearken back to Ronald Reagan when he asked: "are you better off now than four years ago?" I have to say yes. Not because of the government, or the economy, but because I have invested my personal time, effort, blood, sweat and tears to get where I am today. No government program got me here; no handout put me in a better financial position; not one word any politician uttered made me feel better about myself. Quite the contrary -seeing the devastation of what an invasive government can do has caused me to lose some sleep at night.
Again, I must say yes for the simple fact I got myself here. I put in the time. I made the sacrifice(s) to not go on a vacation, continue to drive a 15 year old car hoping it won't die a horrible death on the side of the road when I need to make deliveries. Believe me I wanted to go away, I wanted to buy that new car and become intoxicated with the new car smell. We recently purchased a new car: a 2012 model (remember that it is 2016 when I am writing this). We were also able to take a vacation because we saved up for it. Hm, this fiscal responsibility thing works!
It wasn't easy getting here. Everyone can do it: the question is do you WANT to do it (pay the price through effort). I've rambled a bit, but that's what I do. As far as politics go -anyone except Hillary. International issues: The UK should commit to BREXIT. For social warfare -What ever Bernie has started, we will always feel the burn because of it.
Laterz.
