I recently opened a Twitter account to see what everyone in the tech community was talking about. I kicked the tires, and pushed the buttons only to find it is a stripped down version of Facebook. 144 characters or less, limited appeal based on who you are following, or who you are in communication with, and just an overwhelming input of drivel and nonsense. After approximately 3 weeks, I shut it down. To borrow the site name from Andy Ihnatko -I think that Twitter is a "Celestial waste of bandwidth."
