A right not to be taken lightly.

I have missed voting four times in my life of being eligible to vote. All of them were when I was on active duty in the military. Yes there was a mechanism in place for me to vote by absentee ballot, but being young, and not knowing how to go about getting the paperwork, I passed.

I did not complain about the results, I did not complain about how it impacted me. I accepted the fact that I had no right to complain.

I am voting tomorrow. I will have the ABSOLUTE right to complain if I do not like the way things are going. Even exercising the right not to vote is still the same as not voting. In the voting booth, not pushing a button or pulling a lever in one column is the same as voting against the worst of two evils.

Vote. You have the right others dream of. Being arrogant about it does not make you better; just arrogant.
