Slacking...again.

Life has a funny way of letting you know when you are "dropping the ball" when you are busy doing this thing called living.

I have fortunately found myself doing well -despite myself, and have found I have significant room for improvement.  I've had things way to easy for too long and now find myself having to play catch-up in several areas.

Things I've noticed along the way my journey recently:

  • I've taken family for granted.
  • I've taken friends for granted.
  • I've looked the other way when it comes to leadership in my family, and work.
  • I've taken my health for granted.

I started writing this post in February.  The reason for the break was Covid, plus trying to correct my previous mistakes.

If you don't hear from me again in the near future, it is because I am putting my life back on track, and keeping it there.

So who, or what are you letting down in your experience?  It's never too late to try to make the correction, unless those are no longer with us.

God bless.

Severely Slacking

It's been way to long since I've been on here.  No, I wasn't arrested; no I didn't die; and no, I didn't slink off to the high country to get away from it all (although that sounds like a great idea).

Life has thrown up a lot of changes in my life recently, and dealing with them has been a full time endeavor.  But, I'm here and am looking forward to the next set of changes in my life.

That is all.  Carry on carrying on.

The Aftermath

Well here we are.  Almost 100 days of the Trump Administration and we see the Left finally settling down from their temper tantrums, the markets stabilize, other countries respect the processes we have in place, and our return to the world leadership stage from our long, 8 year absence.

Syria: put on notice.
Iran:  beginning to wake up.
North Korea:  seeking to get something if they behave (like the spoiled little fat kid he is).

China: seeks balance because they do not want to be hamstrung in their manufacturing sector.
Russia: has been looking for a challenge -on just about anything.
EU: Can't figure out what the hell is going on with us, or those Brits!

It looks like it will be a bumpy ride.  Sit back, relax, and buckle up, Buttercup!
